A Welcome from our Headteacher
I am very proud to be the Headteacher of Wilton and Barford Primary School. We pride ourselves on our inclusive ethos where all children are valued and nurtured to be the best that they can be. Each child is unique and we are committed to lighting the spark so that all our children love learning, experience success (and challenges) and achieve academically, spiritually, physically, artistically, musically and socially.
Children learn best when they are actively involved and enjoying school. Through our curriculum we aim to plan and provide many exciting learning experiences and opportunities in school through daily teaching, visitors to school and trips and visits out locally and further afield! To experience the best of W&B, you need to come to the school and soak up the atmosphere! When you visit our school we are sure you will notice the happy and busy working environment and the enthusiastic participation of our children, which we think reflects the aims and values of the school.
We are a happy school with a strong tradition of working in partnership with parents because we believe that education is a partnership between home and school. We encourage and welcome parents into school holding parent lunches, celebration assemblies, INSPIRE mornings and family learning workshops.
This website explains many of the details of life within school, and we would be pleased to tell you more or answer any questions either through a visit or telephone call. We all love coming to school and we hope that you and your children will be equally keen to join us and to be a part of our community.
